Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, touch-based healing that uses very light contact, about 5 grams of pressure, on the skull, spine, and sacrum. A deeply restorative technique, it works with the central nervous system to release deep-seated tension.
It is offered by Reiki practitioner Dr. Vinodha Cumarie, and her Energy hands are at the heart of the work. Reiki is a gentle energy practice that clears blockages, balances the body’s natural energy centers, and promotes profound emotional and physical relaxation. Together with CST, it helps the body quiet the noise and enter a state of true self-healing. Cosmic Consciousness Foundation is offering CST in a way that is truly one of a kind.

What a session looks like
You rest fully clothed on a table for 30 to 90 minutes while Dr. Cumarie holds soft points along the head, neck, and spine. The touch is quiet and unhurried. Many people feel deeply relaxed, and some notice warmth, tingling, or a gentle emotional release.
Who comes to CST
People often come during stress, anxiety, or emotional burnout, when the mind will not quieten, or for tension in the neck, back, or jaw, headaches, restless sleep, or a feeling of being depleted after a hard season of life.
Origins
CST grew out of cranial osteopathy, developed by William Sutherland in the early 1900s and formalised by osteopath John Upledger in the 1970s.
A note on care
CST is offered as one of our healing offerings after a consultation. Together we look at what you are going through and whether this is the right support for you. It is a complementary practice for relaxation and wellbeing.
